Jim Basiliere
Jim Basiliere, a Berkshire County native, has more than a decade of
experience in the art of Shaping and Golf Course Construction. However,
it could be said that golf is in his blood. Jim's grandfather held the
world record for the youngest player to sink a hole in one. His Father
was recognized as one of the best in the state as a young man. Add to
this that fact his family has owned and operated a golf course for nearly
fifty years, and it's easy to see why it's not just a sport but a way
of life for him.

Beginning in the early 90's Jim began shaping his career in golf course
construction. Understanding the value of being well rounded, he accepted
positions around the country with many of the most well respected architects
and builders in the industry. Learning from these varied experiences,
and with a little help from his mentors, Jim developed a strong work ethic
and an attention to detail that few can match.
Striving for perfection and originality, Jim started East Coast Shaping...
