Where's the value of building something
that looks great if it lacks functionality?
That seems to be the way that most Shapers look at a
golf hole, unfortunately. If I've heard it once, I've heard it a hundred
times "Function is not my job, it's the Architect's." WRONG!!
Conceptual ideas do not always work, sometimes it is
necessary to make field adjustments. Just one "Function" adjustment
can dramatically change the overall "Form," and
in some cases "Dictate" it. The Architect is not there all the
time, so a Shaper who can spot functional problems
can save himself and the Architect valuable time.
